Anna Nezhnaya's installation at Emmaus Church in Kreuzberg will showcase a selection of her recent neon works. In these, ingenious objects, mythology, freehand doodles, street signs, tattoos and emojis are transformed into wicked, humorous figures made of neon light.
Anna Nezhnaya (Israeli, born in Moscow, 1987) has been living and working in Berlin since 2017.) Trained as a graphic artist at the Moscow State University of Printing and Graphics and with an MA from the University of Greifswald, Anna explores traditional imagery in contemporary settings.
Throughout the weekend, Anna Nezhnaya’s exhibition will create a striking visual experience. Its elements merge with the music in both tone and atmosphere, while also independently to be explored.
This exhibition is curated by FRAMED e.V.
